D2 Coed Playoff Picture is heating up!

Wednesday Night Coed League at Litton has two more weeks remaining. With All Seasons Pools & Spas — locking up first place even if they lose their last game and DMCE wins; DMCE Ballahollics holding onto second place, but things could happen; and Comp Edge in a strong third place and a possible second place shot, the battle is for the fourth between Rolly's Auto Body, currently 4th by a small margin, and Jernigan's looking to crash the party.

Rolly's and Jernigan's won their games on Wednesday, September 28th to prolong the decision.

With one game left, it is Rolly's who has the most to lose. The game Rolly's will play against Comp Edge may have some implications about second place, as well as, the definitive factor for forth; that is if Ol' Republic, who is on an up hill high the past few games, can beat Jernigan's, than it's over — Jernigan's needs to win no matter what Rolly' does.

The second place implications that the Rolly's and Comp Edge game may have are between DMCE (2) and Comp Edge (3). If Comp Edge beats Rolly's, and DMCE loses to Public Enimas, they both would be 9 - 3. That would put Comp Edge in 2nd place because, Comp Edge scored 30 runs, where as, DMCE only score 29 runs in the two games they split against each other during the season.

Unfortunately, the chance that DMCE will lose to Public Enema's is a long shot at best. Public Enema's is a new team, and are getting their legs under them and have improved greatly over the summer; however, not enough to beat a seasoned team like DMCE.

The reason for this content is that Gerald, the Coed President, and Umpire of these games, has decided that the only game there will be a coin toss to decide who is home and visitor will be the championship game. So the lower seed will be the home team in the first two games. All Season's would be hosting Rolly's or Jernigan's. DMCE could be hosting Comp Edge, or the other way around.

Come out on Wednesday night to Litton Field and watch the fun and excitement that Adult Coed Softball has to offer here in Grass Valley, Nevada County, California.
